Guess who's coming to dinner?

To me there is nothing more appealing than dinner with close friends...good company and great food seem to work wonders even on the most miserable of nights...
This room below just makes me want to cook up a storm, ring up all my friends and have a cozy dinner party...it's so rustic, unpretentious  and inviting...nothing could go wrong here, right?...

He he!

(I love the yellow chandelier!)

A lovely bowl of soup would definitely be on my menu tonight...it's still sooo cold outside
(actually even colder than yesterday!)

What's on your menu tonight?

Keep warm and cozy :)

  1. What a great room - rustic and colourful.

I'm breaking with tradition and cooking roast beef tonight - I only cook it about once a year (too much meat in one go for a semi-vegetarian like me). But it is SO cold, that I figured huge platters of roasted beetroots, pumpkin and cauliflower, all drizzled with balsamic vinegar, would be yummy.

I like the idea of your soup though. And I positively agree - nothing better than friends for dinner.

  3. That chandelier is certainly impressive! I wonder if they do any other colours?

  4. Hello Claudia:
35c+ here so the only soup to be found is chilled Gazpacho!

We rather like the underplayed table setting with the way over the top chandelier. Every meal would be fun we think.

  12. Hi Claudia, I just posted a comment but it all disapeared on me, so I don't know if you got it or not. Anyway, I love this room, it is so unpretencious and relaxing. I could definitely eat here and feel totally at home. Have a lovely day! Leahxx
