contemporary flair

This home belongs to the Duval family. I love the contemporary feel and the details, adore their collection of contemporary art and the black and white colour scheme...just glorious! And of course it's located in one of the most beautiful cities in the world...yes you guessed right, this beauty is in the 16th arrondissement in Paris, perfect! See more here

Magic

they all hate us

I love this quote and I love magic...

magic |ˈmajik|nounthe power of apparently influencing the course of events by usingmysterious or supernatural forces : do you believe in magic? | suddenly, as if by magic, the doors start to open.• mysterious tricks, such as making things disappear and appear again, performed as entertainment.• a quality that makes something seem removed from everyday life, esp. in a way that gives delight : the magic of the theater.• informal something that has such a quality : their seaside town is pure magic.

Wishing you a truly magical week :)

what is grief?

Grief is a solitary journey. No one but you knows how great the hurt is. No one but you can know the gaping hole left in your life when someone you know has died. And no one but you can mourn the silence that was once filled with laughter and song. It is the nature of love and death to touch every person in a totally unique way   ~  Unknown

For my dear friend Susan and her family.

Susan's life was destroyed last Friday when her beloved John died...He was the most amazing husband, dad, friend...kind, generous, loyal. His life cut short by illness... why? Life is just not fair.

Here's a collection of images from Le tour. John was a fan. And he was a great cyclist himself.

It's my own humble way to pay tribute to a true gentleman, a top bloke.

We will always remember you John. RIP.
