The dining table/dining room is without a doubt a favourite space of mine. I simply cannot resist beautiful tables and chairs, pendant lights and rugs; the essential elements (in my opinion) for the creation of the perfect dining area. Dining tables/rooms often act as work spaces in today's way of life and therefore they need to be sturdy, well designed and practical. With a great range available on the market, price is often what dictates the choice. Luckily we don't need to spend a small fortune anymore to own a beautiful piece of furniture, nowadays a lot of stores have successfully launched a range of good quality, reasonably priced products which have been well received by all of us.
Bottom line: we now no longer need to sacrifice style and quality for a smaller price tag.
A variety of looks can be achieved. Here's my small selection of favourite dining rooms from around the globe. Simplicity is the key.

I love these pictures, especially the pendant lights. I wanted to put a pendant above our dining table but because it was off alignment to both door ways and there wasnt room to line it up decided against the pendant or it would be against the wall which would just look odd!
