Hello Claudia: Nothing could be further from the truth. It is, as you say and show here, so important to make the right impression at the very start and so, like you, we feel that the hall/entrance door will so often set the scene of what is to come.
Wow love that first picture, imagine how old the ivy is to have grown so much over the front of the house. What an amazing sight, I can picture it to be in some little English town.
