Happy Australia Day!

Today I'd like to dedicate a post to our beautiful country. Although it is a day of celebrations I cannot help but thinking of all of those who have been left in despair, those who have lost their homes and businesses lately and that are struggling daily to come back to normality. My heart goes out to everyone in need and their families. There are so many faces to Australia and I feel that the image above, from the set of Australia the movie really captures the spirit of the nation and reminds us of its generosity, beauty, tribulations, hopes and truth.

Hope you are having a great day :))

  2. A beautiful passage about your wonderful country. I send positive thoughts and prayers to those who are now struggling to save or rebuild what they worked so hard for.

  3. You know, I really liked this movie, I really thought it was true Australiana. I loved the visuals and the landscape. I watched it the other night and loved the set decoration, real colonial Australia. Unreal!!! Sums up our country in terms of wit and down to earth attitude. I took it for what it was, where as I know a lot of people didn't like it. Great pic!!
