Pale blue and dark timber is a pretty good start...

This kitchen is another great example of how classic and modern can co-exist harmoniously under the same roof. The shiny pendant lights introduce a modern element to this otherwise traditional space and transport it almost instantly into the 21st century. I think that the juxtaposition is delightful - for me it was love at first sight.
