On the market

Our house is finally on the market. We have done it!
It was our first open house last Saturday and I was so busy all week I didn't have much time to blog or do much else, it's amazing how many little things still needed to be done - we wanted everything to be perfect!
It was madness on the day but we managed to make every room look great...phew!...Five of us are a pretty good team together...!

It's our living area - it's a pretty big room.

Must say last Saturday was a great day for our first opening, the weather was gorgeous, we had quite a few groups through and the feedback was great...yeay!!! A relief!

Hope to survive the next few weeks...wish me luck!

Home on the market - or should I say castle? This stunning property in Saint Victor La Coste, France is indeed a provencal castle and definitely my fave home for sale this week...dream...

Hotel in Switzerland - the "Nira Alpina" an amazing, new hotel with stylishly rustic interiors in the village of Surlej, not far from the sophisticated and very well known St. Moritz is my travel destination of choice this week...it really looks divine surrounded by the soft white snow, doesn't it?

speechless...

I normally don't get flowers on V's day, it's just one of those things that I've come to accept over the years and I am okay with it, it's not big deal really...
So what do you think I did when I found these amazing babies sitting on my desk yesterday? Well not much really, I was simply stunned and yes happy, definitely happy too...
I love them and the thing is they don't just look beautiful, they smell incredible too...it wasn't such a bad day after all!!!

New artwork

I have been busy painting and haven't been around much. I'm loving my paintbrushes at the moment and having a magical and creative time with them :)

colour on a rainy day...

It's still wet and miserable here in Sydney...(that is probably why I'm enjoying bright interiors at the moment) I wonder if we are going to have another sunny day anytime soon...I hope so!

Supergas are an italian icon and have been for many years (I was obsessed with them at 15 and went through many, many pairs...)

White and navy blue were a must have back then...nice to see they've made it overseas under the "fashion sneaker" category!
25 years later though I'm definitely ready for something a bit different...I'd be very happy to give one of the other styles a go, just for a bit of fun;)
