Enchanted

We all sat back and watched beautiful Catherine walking down the isle last night...it was one of those perfect moments...she reached her prince, they looked so perfect together...they have the magic in them.
The ceremony was emotional, solemn, just splendid. The abbey looked magnificent adorned with maple trees, red carpet, royal hats and jewellery...

I love these images above, they are fresh, fun, original, young...perfect.

Am sure they'll have an amazing and wonderful life together :))

Thank you Table Tonic!

I was the winner of a double pass to Sydney fashion week-end - courtesy of Table Tonic - and it arrived in the mail yesterday. Thank you Louise! My 15 yo daughter is over the moon - she hasn't even asked, she's just assuming she's going with me! Oh well if she behaves perhaps she will...he he!

And it's Friday!...A nice, short week is not a bad start after the Easter break! We are going to have a wet w/end though...more rain in Sydney...the sun has decided to take a break...missing you sunshine... and dreaming of you in the meantime...

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone! The children are back at school today and the house feels a bit strange without them...am not complaining though, I'm looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet, silence can be pure bliss sometimes :))

Thought I'd share some images from my "Rustic file" today. I love all things rustic, old, recycled, with character. Perfection is not for me, it doesn't "grab" me. Don't get me wrong, I admire it but I just couldn't live with it, it's just one of those things...I love warmth and coziness at home, it's always been that way. How about you? Easing back into a work schedule is definitely not simple after four days of relaxing, eating and having fun but it's got to be done and with all the projects that have already started taking shape in my mind I don't really have a choice (not that I want one). As you all know I love my job and the beauty of simple, easy, unpretentious interiors hence the selection above.

Hello everyone! First of all thanks for all your lovely comments on "the enchanted garden" post. They sure did wonders on my self esteem...(he he!) And here I am posting some of my own work again.

These images make my heart go all funny...is it possible? Yes I know, some people might say I'm hopeless and it's true...I just cannot help myself!

The little round table in pic 3 via Lonny is just divine...I love it! Not to mention the rustic table and stools in the bottom pic - perfect contrast to the chandelier, the marble splash back and the beautiful glass bowls. My kind of decor :))

Week before Easter

A week until Easter, which means school holidays, which means kids at home (!!!), which means...everything is just mad! My kids will be decorating eggs this week and making Easter cards for their grandparents. They will want to organise a Easter egg hunt too, which means...lots of chocolate eggs, mess, paper...in a word "FUN"! We can handle that...he he!!!

Happy award time

Hello! It's a happy day for me as the lovely Rachel from "Little bits of lovely" has kindly nominated my blog for an award. First of all thank you Rachel!

My iphone! My whole life depends on it, it's my PA!

My daily dose of fruit...I won't say veggies but fruit...yes please!

Music...it calms me down especially when I'm in the car...I love the classic channel on the radio - I've just discovered it and I must admit I am really enjoying it :)

Flowers...they bring freshness and colour to any home and I just feel so much better when I'm surrounded by their beautiful perfume
