The bottom image has got my heart, probably because at the moment I am dying for my own private studio and this shot is just what I always imagined it would be...for me it has it all: the greys, the whites, the chair...sigh!
The second image is one of my old time favourites, I love what white and light can do to a room, plus those gorgeous details...a dream...! :))

Rain...

And so much of it! You know it's a lot when at least one of your skylights starts licking... and one of mine has been licking for a while...Sydney is wet, wet, wet! When is it going to stop? Hope soon...
In the meantime I need cozy and warm...a nice cup of tea, a book and a blanket should do the trick...

Day of silence

I wasn't aware of the fact that many bloggers were observing a day of silence in honour of Japan today and posted this morning. As I'm hrs ahead of most countries in the world I will start my day of silence from now...See you again tomorrow afternoon - Sydney time

If you want to get lost in chocolate heaven and forget about all your problems for a couple of hours then you just need to enter the heavenly Max Brenner, located in the upper north shore of Sydney...The place is just divine and full of gorgeous little goodies to make everyone's heart sing. From the strawberries to the marshmallows, the croissants and the waffles all served with chocolate fondue, not to mention the real hot melted chocolate, the frappes and the selection of teas and coffees...that is no place for the faint- hearted! It's lovely, lovely, lovely...and my little man and his sisters sure had a great time - his mum and dad had a fab time too believe me!

And it is Friday...so good!

Happy St. Patrick's day everyone.

Today is a very happy and special day at my house. My little man Lucas turns 11! He's my middle one, in between the two girls, my easy child, the negotiator. This morning the house seemed to be under a magical spell...Everyone woke up happy, the kids were nice to each other, they were in a good mood, they giggled and moved around quickly...it was an easy morning for me I didn't have to raise my voice once...they went off to school happily and they are all looking forward to our special treat tonight...will take some photos and do a post about it tomorrow- good practise for my photography skills!
Birthdays are wonderful days aren't they?

Happy Wednesday!...What are you up to today? Whether it's work fun or play hope you keep inspired and motivated.

What is your favourite room in the house? Perhaps the living room? I must admit I love the casual living room as it is after all the place where we spend most of our time when at home and it is often where we come together with our kids and enjoy watching movies, playing board games, read books, etc.

I found these great images of living rooms...They all appeal to me in different ways. Bottom one is my favourite and it's from the march/apr issue of the Lonny mag - check it out if you can there are some great inspirational images as always.

Happy Monday everyone!
I have decided to dedicate my "Inspire me Monday" post today to two of my favourite things:
"books and the Union Jack".
Books have always appealed to me and I've always wanted a room with floor to ceiling bookshelves just like a library...a bit like the ones in the images above...dream!
And although I'm not british the Union Jack has inspired a bit of my work lately...so here it is...my Inspire me Monday...I hope you all get inspired too.
