Happy new week everyone!
Hope this week is going to bring a lot of joy, inspiration and creativity to all of us.
Hopefully I'll be able to show some of my artwork later this week, have been really anxious to do so but it's got to be right so...wish me luck! I'll keep you posted.
I also have my first show and tell tomorrow for my photography course which means I have to present 20 perfect images to the class...wish me more luck!...

I'm in love with the room in the top image, it's casual and beautiful, just my style...and the chairs in the second image...how can you not be?...such a classic

Dining room dream

Happy Sunday to you all!
This morning I'm planning our new dining room...We don't have a dining room at the moment, we eat around the island bench in the kitchen which is not really comfortable because there's no room for legs...or the coffee table which is great for the kids especially if the TV is on! It won't be forever (I hope!), only until our extension is completed.
I was going through my dining room file last night and found this image...isn't it lovely? I really love the table and everything else is nice too, I like its soft and tranquil mood. I can predict that mine will not be as soft and feminine though - my dear hubby couldn't live with it - but will have some elements of softness and some beautiful details. To me the lighting is extremely important to establish the right mood in a dining room and I will definitely work my best to try and achieve the result we want, re: lighting and everything else too. It will be a simple and comfortable DR, it cannot be fussy, with three children we definitely cannot afford to be overparticular! It will be a little while anyway so I have plenty of time to dream...and change my mind!!!...As I do! :))

Living with colour

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a fantastic day.
I'm back from my landscape shoot. Phew! We went to Bobbin Head national park and it was the most beautiful and peaceful setting. Hopefully I have taken some great shots! 


Some lovely splashes of colour in the above images...I find colour energising and uplifting but it depends on the day really so I much prefer to play with flowers, throws, cushion covers, vases and art rather than big pieces of furniture and stick to my "portable colour" theory which is very easy to follow, does not require any particular physical strength and it is extremely gratifying :))
